Swan Re proudly holds a license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to operate in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) under license number CL5056, home to more than 120 registered insurers, reinsurers, captives, and insurance-related entities and the hub of choice due to its globally renowned regulatory environment.
While compliance with industry standards under the DFSA oversight ensures confidence for our stakeholders, servicing our partners from our DIFC office allows us to offer comprehensive reinsurance solutions to a broad number of geographies in the MENA region.
In 2023, the DIFC’s growth has elevated Dubai’s position as a global insurance and reinsurance hub, with record-high gross written premiums (GWP) at close to USD 2.6bn, up 23 per cent from USD 2.1bn in 2022.
