Technical Support – Facultative Department

Role Purpose

To carry out Facultative technical support activities including Claims Management.

Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Support:

  • Organize, file, archive, and maintain data and records for swift retrieval.
  • Generate closings based on placement covers.
  • Verify that the information provided in the closings received from Cedants and Reinsurers is precise and consistent with the terms of the agreement.
  • Dispatch to Brokers files of policies along with their respective expiration dates so they can ensure timely follow-up.
  • Liaise with the Compliance Department to conduct checks on clients in conformity with prevailing compliance and AML/Anti-Money laundering regulations.

Claims Management:

  • Organize, file, archive, and maintain data and records for swift retrieval.
  • Monitor the claims register and proactively engage with cedants to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims.

Job Requirements and Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent field.
  • Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry, expertise in placement and claims is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
  • Thorough understanding of reinsurance agreements and policies.
