Technical Support – Facultative Department
Role Purpose
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Support:
- Organize, file, archive, and maintain data and records for swift retrieval.
- Generate closings based on placement covers.
- Verify that the information provided in the closings received from Cedants and Reinsurers is precise and consistent with the terms of the agreement.
- Dispatch to Brokers files of policies along with their respective expiration dates so they can ensure timely follow-up.
- Liaise with the Compliance Department to conduct checks on clients in conformity with prevailing compliance and AML/Anti-Money laundering regulations.
Claims Management:
- Organize, file, archive, and maintain data and records for swift retrieval.
- Monitor the claims register and proactively engage with cedants to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims.
Job Requirements and Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent field.
- Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry, expertise in placement and claims is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
- Thorough understanding of reinsurance agreements and policies.
